Cash Back Websites- The Down Low

As I was posting earlier about the Gap sale I realized that I have never done a post about cash back websites in detail and although I often give deals using them I never explained how they work. There are 2 big sites that I use often and I am sure there are others but I wanted to focus on Ebates and Shop at Home today.

Ebates:
Ebates is a cash back website that offers a $5 sign up bonus. What that means is that as soon as you sign up for FREE they give you $5. On Ebates there is a search bar at the top right hand side of the page where you can type in your stores name, ie Gap, Kohls, etc. It will then tell you how much cash back is being offered that current day from that store. Today Gap is offering 2% cash back. If you want to shop click the red button for Shop Now. It will take you to that website and shop as normal. Make sure you checkout from that window. In a few days or so the cash back precentage will be added to your account. If you are going to shop online you mine as well earn some cash back right? Another benefit is that for every friend you refer and makes there first purchase you get another $5. THere is also a bonus recrutting even going on refer 3 friends and instead of getting $15 you will get $30! You can also get cool prizes like the Flip Video for 20 friends, Apple Ipad for 50 friends and more.

Shop At Home:
Shop at Home is another great cash back shopping site. T His works almost the same as Ebates. You will also get a sign up bonus for this one of $5. On the top of the main screen is a huge search box where you enter the store name you would like to search. Once you have located the store you click the link and start shopping. The cash back will be awarded to you in just a short time.  Shop at Home also offeres a referal bonus of $5 for every oerson that signs up through you and makes there first purchase. You can also print grocery coupoins from here as well.

  1. Online shopping provides a lot of opportunities for saving money while shopping. Several cash back sites, coupon sites, rewards programs are available on the net that help shoppers saving online. Such facilities are not available in the brick and mortar stores. Moreover, online retailers provide special offers to the online buyers. Being a frugal online buyer, I always use cash back websites like ShopAtHome, FatWallet, AAfter Search and Ebates, and MrRebates.
