I got PAID to Shop!

Hopefully by now you are aware of the Walmart Coupon Policy which states "If coupon value exceeds the price of the item, the excess may be given to the customer as cash or applied toward the basket purchase."

With that being said you can actually get paid to shop. I went in yesterday and found the Similac Ready to Feed Sensitive style on Rollback for $3.84. I got 16 bottles(no I didn't clear the shelf and yes I do use it, not just stock piling). As you can see my baby girl is very excited to have gotten FREE formula!

I also want to explain to you that I did buy my coupons off Ebay in order to have enough coupons for formula. If you watched Extreme Couponing on TLC you will notice that the people that bought there coupons, which most did, did not add into there total spent what they spent on coupons. YOU HAVE TO DO THIS! Money spent on coupons is money out of pocket(OOP).

For 20 Similac coupons on Ebay that are for $5 off any Similac product(also from the 4/3 SS) I spent $12.51 on ebay. That comes out to .63 cents per coupon.

16 bottles Similac @ $3.84= $61.44-16 $5 off= $18.56 money maker- 16 x .63(what I spent per Q)= $8.48 overage!

I also bought 3 bags of candy for Easter @ $1.97 each

1 bag candy for $1.97-.55 here(Nestle Butterfinger Eggs)= $1.42

Head & Shoulders travel shampoo .97-$2.00 PG Mailer= $1.03 overage

Degree men's travel deodorant .97-$1.00(4/3SS)= .03 overage

All in all I walked out of the store with more money then I went in with and got lots of goodies. Ebay sells all kinds of coupons and you can do a search for a particulate item like Similac( just don't bid against me, haha!)

Winner- Tropical Traditions

Sorry for the delay in announcing the winner as I have been under the weather. Without further ado the winner is:

My .29 Trip to Walmart

You read that title right, I only spent .29 cents at Wal-Mart today. Here's how I did it.

Similac Ready to Feed $3.84-$5 coupon from 4/3 SS= $1.16 overage
Nivea for Men Body Wash $3.00-$2 coupon 2/6 RP= $1.00
Secret Clinical Strength Trial Size $2.47- $3 coupon from Ebony Magazine insert or PG Mailer= .53 overage x2

Remember that Walmart takes the overage from your coupons and applies them to other items, or will even give you cash back. Make sure to take the Corporate Policy with you just in case.

Giveaway/Review -Tropical Traditions

Are you looking for a healthier substitute for regular cooking oils? Well I have found it. Tropical Traditions offers a Gold Label Coconut Oil that can be used as a replacement in what seems like any recipe. I did call my mom to ask her what to use Coconut Oil in best and she said "ANYTHING". That's right you can replace any oil with coconut oil. She also thought I would not try it simply because it is called "Coconut" and I hate coconuts. But for Tropical Traditions I indeed did try it out to make brownies. I replaced the normal oil in a box mix with Gold Label Coconut Oil and I did not taste a trace of coconut.

Some benefits of Gold Label Coconut Oil is no hydrogenation or trans fats, it is USDA Certified Organic, it has highest levels of anti-oxidants and many more. You can see all the details about it here.

Tropical Traditions also has a website just for recipes for Coconut Oil. And now through Thursday April 7th you can buy one 32 oz. bottle and get one FREE.

Thanks to Tropical Traditions one reader will win a 32 oz. jar of Gold Label Coconut Oil.

MANDATORY ENTRY: Leave a comment telling me what you would try and use Coconut Oil for or what you have used it in.

You must do the mandatory entry in order for your other extra entries to count. I will delete comments that do not qualify. Please be fair and be honest.
