Review/Giveaway- Woombie


Time for another review and giveaway. This time my baby girl, who is almost 3 months old, got to do the review. The item she choose is called the Woombie. IT is a baby swaddler that is the only one that truly mimics the womb. Swaddling has been shown to help babies up to 8 months sleep better, longer and safer. The Woombie has a unique four way stretch fabric that is ergonomically shaped to snuggle your baby and move with them to mimic the womb. The Woombie comes highly recommend by doctors, nurses, Doulas, Payton and Me!

The first time I put it one her i thought it looked more like a straight jacket and she looked a bit uncomfortable not being able to use her hands at all. But after having her in it for a little bit it helped her fall asleep quickly because when Payton fights sleep she tends to knock her Nuk out of her mouth and wake herself up. With the Woombie she was not able to. I think the Woombie could even be used during feeding times to help cut down on cleanup.

The Woombie is made from 95% cotton and 5% spandex. It is machine washable. IT can soothe babies with colic and easy to use with a zipper 2 way zipper to make diaper changing easier. They come in 4 sizes from Preemie to Mega Baby. We tried the Big Baby for my daughter who is wearing 0/3 months and she still has room to grow in it.

    The Woombie would be for my son who has VERY bad reflux and cries 24/7 and never sleeps. I bought a secondhand Woombie today and already he has been asleep for 3 hours!!!

    I just ordered one and can't wait to get it! My baby boy is 3 months old and sleeps soundly in his Halo swaddle BUT Halo only goes up to 14 lbs for the wrap around version so I was forced to look for an alternative. I am so excited that I found this item and look forward to not having velcro to mess with! What a wonderful idea you have. Wish I would have found this sooner!
